Whether it's storytelling or comedy, clients  know they can count on James to always bring a fresh eye and intuitive vision to the work.  He has edited for some of the top working directors in the business including Tarzem, Tony Kaye, Errol Morris and Zack Snyder.  He has won numerous awards - most recently a gold Hugo for his work on United Way.  Whether it's comedy or storytelling, James has an uncanny ability to provide multiple edits and creative choices which is what makes him so many director's  and clients favorite go to editor.

In 2004, Lipetzky co-founded Foundation, where he has helped evolve the company into one of the premiere hybrid production/post production companies. James is equally as proficient behind the camera as in the edit bay as he continues to evolve as a director.
